According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, 13-time All-Star Kevin Durant is growing increasingly upset with the Suns, notably expressing worries about the team’s supporting cast.

The tension is palpable, with Woj stating that many around the Suns “feel the frustration,” echoing the team’s difficult start this season.

The Suns’ short timetable, after trading away several first-round draft picks to acquire Durant last year, adds to the strain. Woj stressed the importance of reform, saying that things “need to change soon.”

Kevin Durant, 35, is averaging 30.9 points per game this season, his highest average since 2013 when he played for the Thunder.

Despite an MVP-caliber performance, the Suns have yet to go on a sustained winning streak. Whether it’s because to injury, poor shooting, or a lack of rhythm on the floor, the Suns have departed from their expected path this season.

Durant, who has routinely led his teams to the playoffs since 2010, is accustomed to a winning mentality and is uneasy with the present state of affairs in Phoenix.
