Giannis Antetokounmpo established a Milwaukee Bucks franchise single-game scoring record against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. That’s also the most points the Pacers have given up in a game.
Also, Oscar Tshiebwe scored his first official point as a Pacer, despite scoring one in the In-Season Tournament championship game against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, under to NBA rules for the new event, that point does not count toward official numbers.
So, Antetokounmpo or Tshiebwe should get the ball?
That seemed to have prompted all of the postgame commotion in Milwaukee. Antetokounmpo exchanged angry comments with Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton before charging into the Pacers locker room.
A subsequent video review shows the actual game ball being recovered by a Bucks player.
The Pacers defeated the Bucks in the IST semifinals last week, and the Bucks had a message to convey Wednesday. They won 140-126 with Antetokounmpo scoring 64 points.
