The Phoenix Suns completed another nail-biting win in the waning seconds, bringing a comfortable victory much closer than it should have been.
It’s a pattern that coach Frank Vogel is quickly growing tired of.
Devin Booker had 32 points and Bradley Beal had 16 in his comeback from a back ailment as the Suns beat the Golden State Warriors 119-116 on Tuesday night (Wednesday, Manila time). Before rebounding, the Suns nearly wasted a nine-point lead in the last 1:30.
Green was expelled
“Yeah, we’ve got to stop doing that,” Vogel admitted. “It’s becoming tiresome… Having said that, we relish winning. That’s a wonderful victory.”
Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors was dismissed in the third quarter after collecting a Flagrant 2 foul for hitting Jusuf Nurkic in the face. Stephen Curry scored 24 points to lead the Warriors.
Green was ejected for the 18th time in his career in the third quarter, the most among active NBA players.
Green and Nurkic were fιɡҺtι𝚗ɡ for position in the third when they collided. The Golden State forward appeared to lose his balance before wheeling around and slamming Nurkic in the face.

Nurkic immediately fell to the ground, but he finally stood up and continued playing. Green was called for a Flagrant 2 foul, which results in an automatic ejection, when the referees reviewed the action.
“That had nothing to do with basketball,” stated Nurkic. “I’m just out there trying to play basketball.”
Green has been suspended for five games by the NBA for placing Minnesota’s Rudy Gobert in a headlock during an argument in November.
Golden State coach Steve Kerr would to comment on the dismissal since he hadn’t watched a video, but he did acknowledge losing Green was a major blow.
“Huge swing,” Kerr exclaimed. “It felt good to have him at the 5 and spread the floor.” Obviously, this shifted the lineup.”
After Beal made a baseline jumper with 1.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the Suns led 88-87. Phoenix led 109-96 with roughly four minutes left after a 12-0 run highlighted by Jordan Goodwin’s steal, pass, and reverse slam.
With 15 seconds remaining, the Warriors trailed 113-104 but rallied to trim the deficit to 115-114.
