Bradley Beal has been out of play for almost a month due to a back ailment. He last appeared against the Oklahoma City Thunder on November 12. The Phoenix Suns’ lack of depth has been highlighted by his absence. The Guard is expected to return against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday after missing 19 games. Beal was listed as a Game-Time Decision at the time of writing.

In the run-up to his possible return, teammate Devin Booker stated that Beal is a tough cover for any team. During a press conference following a Suns practice, Booker described containing Bradley Beal as a “nightmare” for both coaches and defenders. “I’ve been on the other side of it,” Booker added.

He and Beal have faced each other nine times. Beal’s Wizards won eight of those games, while Book only won one. The former Washington Wizards star’s versatility was also praised by the 2022 NBA Finalist.

“You know how quickly he can stop on a dime and get to his pull-up. He has, however, played a variety of roles. I think he was more of a facilitator in the past couple of years. The year before that, he averaged 30 points per game. It just goes to illustrate how versatile he is. “You know, he’s just a – he’s a problem,” Booker added.

Forbes.com’s Shane Young reported on Thursday that Beal has resumed full practice. He did not, however, play in Friday’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

However, his odds of returning improved after participating in several full practices. Following Sunday’s practice, the coaching staff believed that Beal may play in the game against the Warriors.

Bradley Beal has been absent from a significant amount of game action.

So far, the versatile guard has appeared in just three games. He has averaged 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game in these three games. He has a field-goal percentage of 39.1% and a three-point percentage of 33.3%. Beal hasn’t been himself due to a recurring back injury. He is a far better scorer and playmaker than his statistics indicate.

Head coach Frank Vogel would welcome his presence. He liked the “encouraging signs” after Thursday’s practice session.

He also underlined the need of a top-tier scorer engaging in many practices. In any case, it will be interesting to see how the guard performs against the Warriors if he returns.
