Kyrie Irving has been on a roller coaster of events in recent years. Irving has arrived in Dallas after being in the spotlight on social media and being traded last year. He admits to having second thoughts regarding his tenure with the Brooklyn Nets.
Irving told Fox Sports’ Melissa Rohlin that his time with the Nets was like splitting up with a girl who you look back on many years later and wonder what may have been.
“I don’t regret that aspect of my career; I just think it’s one of those things – the time that got away, the girl that got away.” “You’ll be hurt for the rest of your life,” he added.
“You’ve got a great, bad wife, kids and all that, and you’re [still] like…” Kyrie was perplexed.
In response to his departure, Irving stated that the team that included him, Kevin Durant, and James Harden at or around their primes was capable of.
“I don’t second-guess myself. I don’t want to get into any difficulty with my wife. I’m not thinking about anyone else, baby. It feels similar to FOMO (fear of missing out). “You passed up something fantastic,” Irving concluded.
