Without Kevin Durant for the second straight game, Devin Booker’s spectacular contested three with less than two seconds left earned the Suns their eighth straight victory, 116-113 over the Knicks.
Fans were undoubtedly ecstatic for the Suns and Booker, who had struggled to find his flow all night, shooting 10-of-25 overall, but he did score 11 assists, five rebounds, and the team’s highest plus/minus at +15. This was his only three-pointer of the night.
Until this point, this game was largely about the Suns’ role players, as Phoenix was missing two starters in Durant and Grayson Allen.
Eric Gordon finished with 25 points on 6-of-9 three-point shooting, 17 of which came in the first half.
