The Mavericks are 7-2 in their first nine games and currently hold the second seed in the Western Conference.
They most recently defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 144-126.
Irving had 27 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 28 minutes while shooting 8/19 from the field and 5/9 from three-point range.
Irving is in his first full season with the Mavericks after being traded (via the Brooklyn Nets) in the midst of last season.
Irving had a terrific year, averaging 27.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 49.4% from the field and 37.9% from three-point range in 60 games (he also made his ninth NBA All-Star Game).
