Kevin Durant had a solid game for the Phoenix Suns tonight, scoring 26 points and leading the team to a 63-45 halftime lead.
However, things began to deteriorate in the fourth quarter. Everything came crashing down when Durant was stripped with five seconds left and the Spurs’ Keldon Johnson laid it up with less than two seconds left to give the Spurs a 115-114 victory.
Durant missed a last-second shot, and the Spurs won the game.
“I’ve got to hold onto the ball,” Durant remarked of the previous play.
