Kevin Durant moved up in NBA all-time FIELD GOALS MADE

The Phoenix Suns played the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday evening in Oregon.

During the game, Kevin Durant, who finished with 40 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals while shooting 16/28 from the field and 1/3 from three-point range, made NBA history.

Durant surpassed Moses Malone (9,435) for 20th place on the all-time number of field goals made.

Following Malone, Durant’s next target will be Oscar Robertson (9,508).

In 23 games, Durant has averaged 31.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.1 blocks while shooting 51.8% from the field and 46.7% from three-point range.

With the loss, the Suns dropped to 14-13 in their first 27 games, putting them in tenth place in the Western Conference.

They are 3-7 in their previous 10 games and will now travel to California to face the Sacramento Kings on Thursday evening.

Durant, the second overall choice in the 2007 NBA Draft out of Texas, is in his 16th season in the league.

The 2014 MVP has previously played for the Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, and Oklahoma City Thunder in addition to the Suns.

His career stats are as follows: 27.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game.
