LeBron James and his family invited Vanity Fair into their house for a photoshoot, which has since gone viral. The photography session took place at their Los Angeles home.

That’s what the New York Post says, anyway.

Vanity Fair was granted access to the Lakers legend’s and his wife Savannah James’ Los Angeles home on Tuesday. The couple and their three children, 17-year-old son Bronny, 15-year-old Bryce, and 7-year-old daughter Zhuri, were photographed for the newspaper. Savannah’s parents, Jennifer and JK, are photographed, as is James’ mother, Gloria. Others are present as well.

The West Coast mansion included a black Porsche 918 Spyder and a swimming pool with marble embellishments, and the Jameses posed in a variety of expensive clothes.

James and Savannah married in 2013. They have known each other since they were in high school in Ohio. The honeymooners are captured in a single frame in a sports vehicle embrace.

Savannah was fully gripped in laughter shortly before the shot was taken after James murmured something amusing into her ear. “Everything is not for everyone,” she said later, after initially saying, “I cannot reiterate that.”

The James family’s closeness and basketball zeal (as well as their similar outfits) were controversial.

The entire family was dressed in matching jammies, and James and Zhuri enjoyed a special father-daughter moment by wearing identical Chrome Hearts overalls.

Savannah said of the family represented in many images of herself and her kid, including ones taken beside a pool and in her opulently decorated bedroom, “Excuse my language, but we a dope family.”

As proven by images and behind-the-scenes footage, James and his sons play basketball using a backyard hoop. In matching swimsuits, the three of them posed in the water on a crown-shaped float.

The media treatment of a black family is surprisingly energizing. It makes no difference whether you think LeBron is the greatest player of all time; what counts is that he has never embarrassed his family members off the floor.
