There is no disagreement. Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter in NBA history. Reggie Miller and Ray Allen, for example, are legends in their own right. Curry, on the other hand, has elevated three-point shooting to a new level. So much so that he just passed another career milestone against the Brooklyn Nets during the Golden State Warriors game.

Curry hit a three-pointer midway through the first quarter, cutting the Nets’ lead to three. That shot, however, turned out to be his 3,500th career three-pointer. The Warriors’ guard is the only player in league history to make that many three-pointers in a single season.

Stephen Curry will have made over 3,500 three-pointers in his career. It’s also unclear when he intends to retire. Everyone has been completely outclassed by him. Ray Allen is second in NBA history with 2,973 three-pointers. The Warriors’ guard has sunk so many three-pointers in his career that it’s difficult to fathom anyone ever breaking his current record.

Despite Golden State’s early struggles, Stephen Curry continues to play at an exceptionally high level. He appears unstoppable most nights and shows no signs of slowing down. Curry has averaged 28.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game this season. In addition, the Warriors’ superstar is hitting five three-pointers a game.

Right now, we are witnessing true brilliance. Stephen Curry is a living legend in the NBA, and we can only hope that he can keep it up for another five years. Or for however long he wishes to remain in the league. Curry is nothing but pure fun.
