The five best players in the NBA In-Season Tournament 2023 have been revealed with MVP LeBron James along with young talent Tyrese Haliburton and a huge cast of stars.

Not long after the In-Season Tournament ended last Sunday, the representative squad of the first cup tournament in NBA history was announced.

Naturally included in this typical team are MVP LeBron James and superstar in the finals Anthony Davis (41 points, 20 rebounds). The remaining three names announced are Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks) and young star Tyrese Haliburton of runner-up Indiana Pacers.

The players in the typical team are voted through the NBA’s expert panel whose members are experts, editors and press reporters.

The interesting point is that the players participating in the typical team not only come from the first and second teams but also the teams that stopped early, based on their individual performances.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, for example, averaged 36 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists per game in two playoff games, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to the semifinals before being defeated by the Indiana Pacers.

Kevin Durant also played impressively with the second highest average points scored in the entire NBA In-Season Tournament (34.5 points/game). KD almost single-handedly carried the entire Phoenix Suns team while many other pillars retired due to injury.

A name that needs to be mentioned in particular is Tyrese Haliburton, one of the rising young stars with the greatest attraction since the beginning of the season.
