LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers made an awesome highlight reel layup against the Houston Rockets, and he wanted to remind everyone that he’s still capable of making plays like that after all these years. On his Instagram account, James shared clips and photos of the stunning performance.

James has now played more regular season and playoff minutes in NBA history than any other player, breaking Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s record of 66,297 total minutes. Despite his age, James can still perform such acrobatic finishes, but James has made breaking records and expectations the standard throughout his extraordinary career.
James had a productive game against the Rockets. In addition to his highlight finish, James got into a sideline brawl with Rockets head coach Ime Udoka, whom LeBron has faced numerous times throughout his career. After collecting a technical foul, Udoka was dismissed. James collected a technical foul as well, but continued in the game because it was his first, leading the Lakers to a 107-97 victory over a tough Houston club. The Lakers needed a win after suffering a 44-point setback the day before, the worst of James’ career.
James is having another fantastic season, averaging 24.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game for the 12-9 Lakers.
