The first pair is named “Akoya,” after a pearl-carrying oyster. James’ daughter Zhuri inspired the sneaker, which is modeled after the outer shell of an oyster. The shoe’s uppers are pearly white with brilliant orange accents on the logos and heel. The official color code is Light Bone/Campfire Orange-Celestine Blue-Pink Rise-Dark Russet. They will be available for $200 on September 28, 2023. They will be available through the Nike SNKRS app and Nike stores across the world.

The second pair will be identical in design and will be called “Abalone Pearl.” While the first pair was inspired by the oyster shell, this pair was inspired by the valuable pearl within the oyster and has a wild blue and green top. The uppers’ iridescent design is inspired by the reflections of sea water and light bouncing off a pearl. The ocean blue outsole will extend up into the tongue and sockliner. Despite the lack of an official release date, these are likely to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor.
