Bronny James: Carrying on His Father’s Legacy as the GOLDEN BOY on the Court 🌟

The NBA is filled with incredible athletes and amazing talents, but sometimes even they have off nights. It happens. This inspired LeBron James to playfully tease on Twitter last night. According to him, his son Bronny James is already better than some NBA players.

The NBA is arguably the only league where you can see guys jumping over three meters high, weighing over 110 kilograms, and standing at 2.15 meters tall. These incredible athletes have worked hard to reach such levels. But it’s true that on some nights, it’s just not their day, and their performances aren’t top-notch. That was the case last night when LeBron James was in a playful mood from his living room. He stirred up the late night with a trΠ°sh-talk-filled tweet, asserting that his son, Bronny James, is better than some NBA players.

“Man, Bronny is definitely better than some of these guys I’ve seen on the League Pass today. It was truly hilarious.” – LeBron James

It’s a bold statement considering Bronny is still in high school and will have to wait another year and a half before he can enter the 2024 NBA draft. The guard is currently averaging 14 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. Those are pretty decent stats leading up to the playoffs for the Sierra Canyon youngster. According to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony, he could be drafted around the 10th spot. However, there’s still time for that prediction to change.

LeBron’s decision at the end of his contract with the Lakers could be influenced by this as well. The King has been open about his desire to play with his son to make history together, but more importantly, for his personal enjoyment. It’s hard to imagine the Lakers purposely tanking to draft Bronny and keep the father. LeBron James will likely play for one more franchise before bidding farewell in 2030. That franchise could even be the Clippers, located behind the distant mountains of Salt Lake City or in the fields of Indiana. It won’t change his decision.

In the meantime, the King believes his prince is already playing at an NBA level while he rests his foot and watches the games on TV. In the end, LeBron is just like us: a regular guy watching NBA games and occasionally tweeting about them randomly.
