The museum offers a captivating journey through the life and times of the legendary basketball player himself.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a recreation of the St. Vincent–St. Mary’s LeBron James Arena, where James honed his skills during his high school days. Step into the locker room where he prepared before games and soak in the atmosphere of his early basketball career. But that’s not all – the museum also features exclusive artifacts that can only be found in LeBron’s hometown. Marvel at his childhood drum set and admire the jersey he wore as a McDonald’s All-American.

Museum exhibits include photos, memorabilia and notes from James' personal and professional life.

One highlight of the museum is the recreation of LeBron James’ Spring Hill apartment, showcasing an impressive display of trophies and awards. The collection offers a glimpse into his remarkable achievements throughout his career. Michele Campbell, Executive Director of the LeBron James Family Foundation, emphasizes James’ desire to put Akron on the map and his commitment to his hometown through various foundation programs such as the I Promise Institute and the I Promise School.

An exhibit dedicated to James' time in the NBA features items such as the all-white suit he wore during 2003 NBA draft and other retired sports gear.

The self-guided tour continues with an exhibit dedicated to James’ NBA journey, featuring items such as the iconic all-white suit he wore during the 2003 NBA draft. Experience his championship runs with Cleveland, Miami, and Los Angeles, and witness his contributions to the USA basketball team’s gold medal victories in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. Throughout the museum, you’ll encounter personal items, fan art, original jerseys, and shoes that provide a deeper understanding of James’ impact on and off the court.

The museum also pays tribute to the evolution of the LeBron James Family Foundation, showcasing memorabilia from its early events such as the bikeathon and various I Promise initiatives. It serves as a heartfelt tribute to the people who have supported James throughout his life journey, including his teammates, family, and fans.

Admission to the museum is $23, with free entry for children under five. The proceeds from ticket sales contribute to House Three Thirty’s job training program, which offers valuable skills and job opportunities to I Promise students, parents, and educators. Visitors are encouraged to explore House Three Thirty, which features a Den and Cabaret screening area for the Ohio State vs. Michigan football game this Saturday, complete with food and drink options.
