The Golden State Warriors were defeated by the Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime on Saturday evening, 130-123.

Steph Curry returned to the lineup after a two-game hiatus and finished with 25 points, seven rebounds, and three assists on 8/21 shooting from the field and 5/11 from three.

The Warriors are now 6-8 in their first 14 games, and they are on a six-game losing streak.

Curry met with the media following the game and made an open speech (h/t Warriors on NBCS).

Curry: “With a losing streak like this, there’s definitely a sense of urgency.” When you lose this many games in a row, it’s an issue that needs to be addressed, and you don’t want to acquire a losing attitude at any point during the season. That’s the kind of stench you don’t want in the locker room.”

Curry has appeared in 12 games this season, averaging 30.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 47.9% from the field and 44.7% from three.

He is in his 15th NBA season and is still definitely one of the league’s top ten players.

Following their game against the Thunder, the Warriors will host the Houston Rockets on Monday evening.

The Thunder are presently 9-4 in their first 13 games and are on a four-game winning streak.

They will meet the Portland Trail Blazers in their next game (in Oregon) on Sunday.
