The Phoenix Suns will play the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Sunday evening.

Kevin Durant created NBA history by rising atop the all-time rebounding chart during the game.

Durant entered the evening with 7,045 career rebounds, moving above of Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant (7,047) for 112th place on the list.

Durant’s next pass will be to Olden Polynice (7,110).

In 12 games, Durant averaged 30.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 52.9% from the field and 50.0% from three-point range.

The Suns are 6-6 through their first 12 games and are on a two-game winning streak.

They most recently defeated the Jazz (also in Salt Lake City) by a score of 131-128 on Friday evening.

Durant had 38 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists in 33 minutes of action, shooting 15/22 from the field and 6/8 from three-point range.

Durant is in his 15th NBA season and has previously played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and Brooklyn Nets (in addition to the Suns).

In 998 regular-season games, he averaged 27.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.1 blocks while shooting 49.9% from the field and 38.6% from three-point range.
