The NBA fined Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Jaden McDaniels of the Golden State Warriors for their shenanigans on Tuesday. The NBA also did not spare Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert one day after their altercation at Chase Center.
Draymond Green was suspended for five games after choking Rudy Gobert in the first quarter of the Warriors’ 104-101 loss on Tuesday. It’s no surprise that ESPN senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news of Green’s ban first. Many supporters clamoured for the sanction, and they got it.
According to Woj, the NBA fined Klay Thompson, Jared McDaniels, and Rudy Gobert $25,000 for their participation in Tuesday’s free-for-all.
“According to ESPN, the NBA is fining Klay Thompson, Rudy Gobert, and Jared McDaniels $25,000 each,” Wojnarowski tweeted on Wednesday.
NBA fans and experts weighed in on the league’s punishments for the wrongdoers.
