According to Nice Kicks, Nike Basketball will bring more from the vault next year, with the iconic Nike KD 4 “Galaxy” coming in 2024.
The reintroduction of the outer space-themed hue follows the recent announcement of the expected Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” return, which will also take place next year. During All-Star Weekend in Orlando in 2012, the KD 4 and the Foamposite led the “Galaxy” pack. The bundle also contained the Nike LeBron 9 “Big Bang” colorway (which will be available again in 2022) and the Nike Kobe 7 “Galaxy” colorway.
The silver upper of the flying suit-inspired Nike KD 4 was accented with brilliant orange detailing, a cosmic-themed midsole, and a glow-in-the-dark outsole. The Nike KD 4 “Galaxy” will resurface more than a decade after its first release.
One aspect of the “Galaxy” Nike Zoom KD4 that was popular among sneakerheads was the glow-in-the-dark outsole, which was used in many memorable sneaker pictures of the time.
The sneaker was frequently worn by fellow DMV legend Wale, who appeared on Celebrity Sneaker Stalker a few times wearing shoes from the 2012 Nike Galaxy range.
The Nike KD 4 “Galaxy” has not been given a release date. However, we expect the pair to be available on SNKRS and at select stores in Summer 2024.
